Virtual image editing process has grown widely and for every little product, image editing is a must. A lot of image editing process is done with the Photoshop it works great for the E-commerce images. Most of the images are altered with Photoshop as it provides vast numbers of image editing services. It is also used for the other uses like drop shadow where the shadow is dropped to create more depth and diversity. It helps in making the image look real, as every real object have its own shadow and if that shadow isn’t seen in the image then it will really look very odd and to cut out this oddness the shadow making is done. Shadow makes the image look more interesting because it shows the light effect in the image and the product more visible. It can be great in making reflective shadow as well. Shadows are often rotated and then inserted inversely to make it look like a glassy effect which attracts the buyers.
Clipping selects the place where the shadow needs to be dropped, it uses the pen tool to draw lines under the object where the shadow should be, then the shadow is made with the lining of the object to make it look same as the product and then the layer is saved. Make sure the layers are settled accordingly so that the image doesn’t get ruined. The shadow can be of two types like light and dark. A dark shadow is when the light source near the product, less distance makes darker shadows where more distance creates lighter drop shadows. Both the shadow is used for the different purpose of the image situations. The shades of gray can be used as the shadows but if the product is luxurious then using reflective shadow can be a great representation of the work. It creates more diversity in the image, making it look more standard and professional. You can also use the lighter shadows for the models and darker shadows for the products.
